Day 30 - Rom 4:24-25 Because Christ is RISEN, I am Justified and Raised with Him

Romans 4:24-25, But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; (25) Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
In Romans 4:24-25, Paul emphasizes the significance of Christ's resurrection as proof of the believer's justification. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not only a testament to His divine power but also serves as evidence that His payment for our sins was accepted by God. This acceptance of Christ's sacrifice on our behalf demonstrates that there is nothing left for us to do to earn our salvation, as it has been fully accomplished through the work of Christ on the cross.
As the heir of all things, Christ has entered into His inheritance, and through our faith in Him, we are qualified and exalted with Him. We now are qualified for incredible privilege and honor bestowed upon believers, as we are now co-heirs with Christ and partakers in His divine inheritance. Our justification and exaltation are not based on our own merits or works but solely on the grace of God and the finished work of Christ. Through His resurrection, Jesus has secured our eternal inheritance and position in the heavenly realms, assuring us of our salvation and the glorious future that awaits us as children of God and joint heirs with Christ.

Verses on justification

  • Romans 3:24-25 - "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God."
  • Romans 5:1 - "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:"
  • Galatians 2:16 - "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
  • Galatians 3:24 - "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith."

Verses on Our Position in the Heavenly Places

  • Ephesians 2:6-7 - "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus."
  • Colossians 1:12-14 - "Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"
  • Colossians 3:1-3 - "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God."
  • Hebrews 10:19 - "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,"
Prayer / Confession
I declare that because Christ is risen, I am justified and qualified. Through faith in Him, I have received His righteousness, and my sins have been forgiven. I am now seated with Christ in the heavenly places, and I share in His inheritance as a co-heir with Him.
I thank You, Father, for freely justifying me by Your grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Because of His sacrifice on the cross, I have peace with You. Thank You for delivering me from the power of darkness and translating me into the kingdom of Your dear Son, where I have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins.
I thank You, Lord, for raising me up and making me sit together with Christ in the heavenly places, so that in the ages to come, you might show the exceeding riches of Your grace in Your kindness toward me through Christ Jesus. I set my affection on things above, not on things on the earth, for I am dead, and my life is hidden with Christ in You.
I boldly enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, knowing that I am qualified and exalted with Him. I thank You, Lord, for securing my eternal inheritance and position in the heavenly realms and for assuring me of my salvation and the glorious future that awaits me as Your child and joint heir with Christ.
